Stichting Grafisch Atelier Minnigh
Project information
Grafisch Atelier Minnigh (GAM) is a Rotterdam-based printmaking studio for makers working across traditional and contemporary graphic techniques, including etching, lithography, lino and woodcut, screen printing, risograph and letterpress.
Following a period of internal change, GAM saw an opportunity to rethink how the studio presents itself. I was asked to help shape the new website and find a visual language that could communicate the character of the atelier and its community. The redesign of the website became the starting point for a broader visual identity update.

Brand guidelines
Inspired by the wooden type blocks traditionally used in the workshop, I developed a custom typeface that became the foundation of the new identity—and the logo itself. A clear colour hierarchy and strongly typographic approach create a bold, distinctive and flexible visual system. The result is an identity that connects GAM’s history of printmaking with its contemporary and experimental character.
A recognizable logo and a custom-designed typeface now form the core of GAM’s visual identity, giving the atelier a distinctive voice across its website and communications.
